Wanted: CDL Pump Truck Driver in Apache Junction

Questions? Call 480-995-0878

Who we are

Steel Septic and Environmental is a locally-owned septic services company based in Apache Junction, AZ, serving the greater Phoenix Valley. We provide reliable septic pumping and maintenance — built for the long haul.

What we're looking for

We're hiring a Pump Truck Driver. CDL required, but no septic experience needed — we train on the job. This is a hands-on role, not just driving. You'll pump septic tanks in and around Apache Junction. The work is physical, outdoors, and dirty. If you have a CDL and take pride in doing the job right, we want to hear from you.

Crew working in the Arizona desert

Key responsibilities

  • Safely operate the pump truck and arrive on time to every job
  • Pump septic tanks following proper procedures and safety standards
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers on-site
  • Complete accurate job paperwork for every stop
  • Maintain the truck: daily pre- and post-trip inspections, clean equipment, report issues

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL with current DOT medical card
  • No experience? No problem — we provide on-the-job training
  • Minimum 5-year MVR required
  • Clean driving record (we will run your MVR)
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet in Arizona heat
  • Live in or near Apache Junction, AZ

Compensation

  • Starting at $20/hour based on experience with strong opportunity for growth
  • Paid weekly
  • Overtime paid correctly

Before you apply, make sure you're comfortable with…

  • Dirty work. This is septic. Smells and mess come with the job.
  • Arizona heat. You'll be outdoors in 100°F+ summers.
  • Physical demands. Heavy hoses, stuck lids, kneeling and lifting all day.
  • 60-day trial period. Every offer starts with a 60-day trial so both sides can confirm the fit.

Interested? Get in touch

We keep it simple. Call, text, or email us about the position — whatever's easiest for you. We'll get back to you and take it from there.

Thank you

If you're ready to do good, honest work with a local company that's built for the long haul, we'd love to hear from you. Questions? Include them in your application — or call us at 480-995-0878.
